Ruth Yvonne Gross Nesbitt

Ruth “Ruthy” Yvonne Gross Nesbitt, of Millington, TN passed away on August 7, 2018. Ruthy was a native of the Shelby Forest Community. She was a life-long member of Shelby Forest Baptist Church in Millington, TN with her family. She retired from the Army Corps of Engineers following years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents, Evelyn Jones and Allen Boyd “BB” Roberson, her siblings, Allen Boyd “Buddy” Roberson II, Donna Elaine Cartwright and Franklin “Frankie” Roberson, and her daughter Wendy Yvonne Timbs. She leaves behind her husband Joseph Nesbitt, her son David Gross (Renee), her grandchildren Cody Timbs, Kristen Gross and Amy Johnson (Mark), her great grandchildren Ellie Timbs, Emma Timbs and Cade Johnson, her siblings Beverly Wade, June Gilliam (Marlin) and James Roberson (Charlotte). She also leaves many nieces, nephews and cousins who she loved dearly. Family will receive friends Friday, August 10, 2018 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Munford Funeral Home - Millington Chapel in Millington, TN. Funeral Service will be Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Shelby Forest Baptist Church, 1207 Locke Cuba Rd, Millington, TN 38053.
