Pearl Gray Turnage Burlison, Tn Norma Pearl Turnage, affectionately known as “Miss Pearl” passed away on February 22, 2018. Born in Burleson, Texas, she was the former owner of Turnage Grocery in Randolph. Married to Robert Turnage, Jr., a WWII veteran of “The Greatest Generation”, Ms. Turnage worked at the Mallory Depot in Memphis during the post WWII era. She was a lifetime member of the Order of the Eastern Star-Munford Chapter and a member of Randolph Methodist Church. She was predeceased by her parents, William and Ollie Gray, her husband, Robert M. Turnage Jr., a son, Billy Turnage, and a great-great grandson, Isaiah Torkell. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Turnage, of Randolph; sons, Kenneth (Amy) Turnage of Munford, and Bo (Sherry) Turnage of Bells, sister, Dorothy Warren of Quito, and brother Donald Gray of Arkansas; grandchildren, Monica Kistler, Melissa Baugh, Joey Torkell, Brian Turnage, Rob Turnage, April Needham; and eleven great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 2 p.mm until 5 p.m. on Sunday, February 25th and a service will be held on Monday at 11 a.m all at Munford Funeral Home-Munford Chapel. Interment will follow in Covington Memorial Gardens in Covington, Tn.
