Mike always greeted me with a smile, a hug, and a peck on the cheek. I can still feel those whisker on my face! I always felt that he was genuinely happy to see me.
He also was such a good conversationalist and really listened to me whenever we were talking. People are always so distracted these days, yet his attention to the conversation was so spot on. And that laugh. He had such a lovely laugh.
I loved our time in the theatre together almost as much as I loved playing and singing with him. He invited me to a music gathering once, and when he and Linda saw my tent they immediately invited me to stay with them in their cabin. Those memories are among my fondest. Mike was an amazing guitarist, and anytime I could get him to accompany me, I was thrilled.

My heart is heavy now because this world has lost such a beautiful man, but I can say that I was very privileged to know him, and my life is definitely better for having know him. Thanks Mike for bringing such joy to so many. I promise I will never forget you.

in honor of Michael.

Where do I start? Mike has such a wonderful spirit! I was blessed to work with Mike on stage and as my director as well. Every time there was so much fun and laughter. He will be forever missed as a dear theatrical friend of mine. I am so glad he got to go on such amazing trips before the disease finalized his days here.
The greatest thing a man can have is friends. Mike has so many, which is a great testament to him. May his spirit surround the family for a life time and may healing find your hearts soon.
