Cassandra E.(Wherry)Perkins
It was a cool summer day, the early part of June 1982, when i met two young military soldiers, flipping coins in the park space at B&M Grocery Store, (we use to call it Jimmy and Martha). So happy i had the pleasure to share my story with Mrs.Martha, about meeting my husband at their store, now of 37 years - Mr. Perkins was one of the soldiers, of course he won, with heads up. I thank God for being at the right place the right time, at B&M Grocery Store. I will always feel connected. Love and Prayers- RIP Mrs. Martha.

1974 I was in kindergarten at Drummonds Elementary. I had missed the bus going home and decided to walk home , made it as far as B & M's. Crying my eyes out Mrs Martha took me in sat me on the counter gave me M&Ms and a coke then carried me home . Was the first memory of many that I have of Mrs.Martha. RIP , you will always be loved and missed.
