Margie Elizabeth FlemingBolton, TNMargie Elizabeth Fleming, 90, of Bolton, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at her home on July 27, 2018 in the company of her family. Visitation will be held Monday, July 30 from 5 until 8 p.m. at Munford Funeral Home, Munford Chapel, 1136 Tipton Road, Munford, TN. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m., Tuesday, July 31 at Munford Funeral Home, Munford Chapel, with interment to follow in Salem A.R.P. Church, 3310 Atoka-Idaville Road, Atoka, TN.Margie, known to her friends at "Tootie", was born to Ira and Margie Joyner on August 19, 1927. She grew up in the Rosemark community. During WWII, she worked at the Millington Naval Air Base in what is now the Navy Exchange. She later worked at Lowenstein's Department Store in downtown Memphis and International Harvester.On September 19, 1953, she married James McDill Fleming and on January 2, 1956, they were blessed with the birth of twins: Aileen Elizabeth Fleming and James Robert "Bob" Fleming. Her true life's work was being a devoted wife and loving mother who nurtured all of her extended family.She was preceded in death by her husband, her sister, Helen Iva Densford, and her nephew, Jimmy Hugh "Sonny" Densford.
