Chris, My thoughts and prayers are with you. I am sorry for your loss. I know how much you loved her.
Chris, I worked with Linda when she was at the Fleet and Family Support Center in MD. I was at HQ and we got to know each other over the phone. On rare occasions we met in person and I so enjoyed being with her. We would lose touch over the years, and then touch base with each other and so on. I hadn't talked to her in some time but remember her with such fondness. She was a special person and I extend my sympathies on her passing.
One day, as Chris and I were discussing a point of theology, Linda said, “I believe in a simple faith.” She knew what was most important. Linda stayed safe on the Solid Rock all the way, and He saw her safely home.
Chris,
My heart breaks for you, Lisa and Leon. I grew up with Linda in Marietta, GA. We were much younger then and we had some fun times. I am so sorry for your loss and I will continue to pray for you and the family.

Dear Chris, Leon and Lisa, I'm so sorry about Linda. She was a strong, intelligent young woman. I'm so blessed to know the Stalcup family since 1980 when we all lived in the same neighborhood in Marietta, GA. I know Edna was happy to meet Linda at the gates of heaven, with arms reached out with love! God bless you all and may he give you peace.
Chris,
You have my deepest sympathy and my heart breaks for your loss. I loved to watch you talk about Linda - you just lit up and your love was so plain for us all to see. I know that you have cherished and beautiful memories of your life together. Continue to hold those close to your heart and she will always be with you. The Lord clearly needed a very special angel on the 1st of June.
