Janell Simpson, 88, of Memphis, TN passed away January 29, 2019. She was the widow of Robert Harold Carmack and Alvin Wade Simpson. She is survived by her sons, Joe H. Carmack of Gates, TN, William W. Carmack of Rosemark, TN, Marcus L. Carmack of Huntsville, AL and George T. Simpson of Memphis, TN; sister, Georgia Drumwright of Jackson, TN; seven grandchildren, Joe Scott Carmack, Julie Umansky, Robbie Carmack, Mindy Carmack, Erin Morgan, Cheryl Carmack, and Arthur Carmack. The family will receive friends at the Millington Chapel Saturday (Feb 2) from 12:00pm until the service at 1:00pm. Interment to follow in Ripley Memorial Gardens in Ripley, TN. Any memorials may be made to the Crossroads Baptist Church, 6601 Austin Peay Hwy, Arlington, TN 38002 where she was a member.
