Gareld William Hoffman

Gareld William Hoffman, 68 of Millington passed away on February 5, 2020. He was a retired carpenter for Shelby County Support Services and served 4 years in the Air Force and 4 years in the Air National Guard. He was a member of 2nd Baptist Church, Moose Lodge #153, loved golfing where he had 3 hole in ones and was in a bowling league. Gary was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and was a wonderful son-in-law, who cared for his mother-in-law. Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Orlo and Norma Hoffman and siblings, Chuck Hoffman, Joyce Glasner and Dale Hoffman. He is survived by his wife, Rita Hoffman; son, Michael Hoffman; stepdaughter, Regina Vandiver; stepson, Micah Farris; grandchildren, Divina Nicole Wright, Lesly (Cody) Cox, Brianna Vandiver, Johnathin Riles, and Landon Farris; six great grandchildren; half brothers, Robert (Marlene) Hoffman and William (Kathy) Hoffman and Doug Bostick and many loved ones. There will be a Celebration of Life at 2:00 pm Sunday, February 16 at Glen Eagle Golf Club. Memorial may be made to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.Read Obituary
