Ella Beatrice Evans

Ella Beatrice Evans, 93, of Millington, TN, passed away on February 16, 2018. She was born November 14, 1924 to Earley and Biddie Jenkins in Sallis, MS. She was married to Fred Evans for 52 years. Ms. Bea, as she was lovingly known, worked for The Internal Revenue Service and served as a caretaker for her beloved husband for 20 years. She enjoyed gardening, fishing and spending time on the family farm in Ashland, MS. Ms. Bea was preceded in death by her husband, Fred and her daughter, Sheryl. She is survived by her daughter, Dale deMarigny of Munford, TN; three grandchildren, Tammy Wolff (Dave) of Mt. Prospect, IL, Robbie deMarigny (Kim) of Park Ridge, IL, Amy Smith (Jeff) of Munford, TN and seven great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 12-1 p.m., Friday, February 23, with funeral service to follow at 1 p.m., at Munford Funeral Home, Millington Chapel. Interment in Memphis Memory Gardens.
