Dora Lee “GiGi” Spencer, 85, of Millington, TN was promoted to her heavenly home January 27, 2020. She worked as a cafeteria worker for Shelby County Schools for many years. She was a loving wife, mother and "GiGi" who dearly loved her 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She would gladly brag and show you their pictures. She loved the Lord and was a member of South Tipton Assembly of God. For many years she enjoyed cooking for church members and dinners. She loved singing in the church choir and being involved with other church ministries. Dora and Charlie opened their hearts and home to many young couples through the years where they shared love and many meals with them. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 58 years, Charles M. Spencer; parents, Raymond “Snooks” and Mattie Hanley Williams; sister, June Garrett Johnson; and brother, Jerry Wayne Williams. She is survived by her daughters, Kathy (Bennie) Crowder, Debbie (Michael) Fowler; grandchildren, Bennie (Angela) Crowder, Theresa (Mike) Green, Melissa (Jason) McDaniel, Shawn (Jo Anne) Fowler, Daniel (Amanda) Fowler; great-grandchildren, Hannah and Chris Green, Daphne and Jade Fowler, Clayton, Spencer, Mason and Layne Fowler, Gideon and Benjamin McDaniel, and Lily Grace Crowder; brothers, Ray Williams, Tom (Billie Ann) Williams, Ed Williams, Robert (Ruth) Williams, Johnny (Janice) Williams; sister-in-law, Judy (Phil) Mueller; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends Saturday (Feb 1) from 10am until the service at 12:00pm at the Munford Funeral Home Millington Chapel. Special thanks to all of her caregivers and especially the staff of Millington Healthcare where she lived in her favorite room #20 the past few months. They took excellent care of her and she was part of their family. Her favorite was the activities especially BINGO, UNO, volleyball and church. i AM SO VERY SORRY FOR THE PASSING Of Dora , I grew up knowing the Williams family when I was growing up in Lucy, she always had a pretty smile everytime I saw her. I am praying for all the family. Dora is with God and is an angel along with her other family members. I will always remember you, Love you Patty ( Hill) Blackburn!!!!!
