Charles Collingwood Rogers, a retired E-9 Chief MSGT after 30 years from the United States Air Force passed away in January 2018. He was 84. The family will receive friends from 2pm until 3pm on Saturday, January 27th at Munford Funeral Home-Munford Chapel. Military honors will follow the funeral service at 3pm. He would not have appreciated this post and he did not have a chance to make his own decisions! He was a loving family man. At death, politics doesn't mean a thing, Charmaine! He WILL always be with OUR MOM!

Charles was a grown man who chose to remarry, It doesn't take away the memories that we have but it is my belief that Charles was of sound mind to make these decisions however unpopular they might have been.
As a religious man he can now rest in the Kingdom of Heaven and if there is any Redemption to be had it will be done.
I'm glad he got to live long enough to see Barack Obama leave office which I'm sure brought him great joy!
My sincere condolences go out to his widow.
