When Steve and I married, Mrs Bacon not only welcomed me but my entire family into her heart. She especially loved her grandkids, watching them during the summer and taking them to a movie and Steak n Shake. On Halloween, we would all gather at her house for hot dogs and chili before making the rounds. She never cared how many there were-the more the merrier. I guess I learned from Mrs a bacon how to party, must have been the Mardi Gras influence, she loved gatherings, her family and cooking food for us all.

I met Sissy when I was 17 a very long time ago through my dear friend (her sister) Barbara. Who has also gone to be with Jesus. She was already married and had children, but was the most loving and giving woman I had ever met. Through the years she moved to be with her wonderful husband and raised her children. Didn't see her much at that time but always knew what was going on through Barbara aka Jenny. But whenever we did see each other it was like we had never been apart. The love and kindness she showed to everyone was remarkable. And that smile how contagious. She was the bright star in the room. She made us laugh until we cried. I will miss her. She is in good company in heaven and will look after all that she loved. RIP my beautiful friend. Love and will miss you
