Annie Ruth Talley

Annie Ruth Talley, 93, of Millington, TN, passed away December 3, 2019. She was the widow of the late George Knight and Woodrow Talley and also preceded in death by her son, Kerry James; brothers, Bud Huddleston, Bobby Huddleston and Eddie Huddleston; sister, Virginia Bennett. She is survived by her daughters, Carolyn (Max) Conley of Millington, TN, Sharon (Paul) Campbell of Southaven, MS and Elizabeth (Hugh) Miller of Greeneville, TN; sons, Don (Sara) James of Millington, TN, Dr. Johnny (Marsha) James of Atoka, TN; son-in-law, John Kelley of Bartlett, TN; sister, Polly (Gordon) Bennett of Millington, TN; 11 grandchildren, Dr. Misha Cordwell Horvath, Emily Cohen McElhaney, Kandace (Shawn) Mills, Kim (Russ) Jones, Greg (Ashley) Campbell, David (Teresa) Campbell, Shawn Campbell, Jimmy (Debby) James, Paul Michael Campbell, III, Glenn (Peggy) Davidson, Carla (Kelly) Baker; 16 great-grandchildren. Annie Ruth was a longtime member of the Millington Church of Christ. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Millington Church of Christ Prison Ministry. This is a ministry she worked in tirelessly for many years and held a special place in her heart. The family will receive friends Saturday (Dec 7) from noon until the service at 1:00pm at the Millington Chapel. Interment to follow in Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery.
