A. C. Floyd, Jr. passed away on September 1, 2018. He was 73. He was a member of Poplar Grove Assembly of God Church and a retired carpenter. He was predeceased by his wife, Wilma Floyd; parents, A.C. Floyd and Mary Lee Floyd; sisters, Peggy Carey, Betty Remington and brothers, Billy, Ricky and Danny Floyd. He leaves his daughters, Deborah (& Alan)Long, Lisa Long; sons, Donald Long, Johnny (& Linda) Long; sisters, Martha Greer, Brenda Berford, Mary Lou Berford, Diana Husted, Angie McCoy; brothers, Tommy Floyd, Jerry Floyd; ten grandchildren, and nineteen great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 5-8 pm on Tuesday, September 4th and a service will be held at 2pm on Wednesday. Interment will follow in Helen Crigger Cemetery in Munford.Read Obituary
