John Woollums 01/14/1943-04/01/2018John Woollums passed on Sunday night April 1st. He’s a 1962 graduate of Tech High in Memphis, TN and a 1970 Memphis State graduate. He has been a loyal Tiger fan for life. He had a passion for life, for his kids, playing tennis and dancing whenever he could. John battled Parkinson's for the last 12-15 years. He attended Hope Church for many years and supported the Al Chymia Shrine. John was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Woollums; mother, Edith Russell; his father, Lloyd Woollums; and his brother, Matt Freeman. John is survived by his sons, Jimmy (Lynn) Woollums, Johnny (Lisa) Woollums; grandchildren, Colton Woollums and Ashley Payne Gagnon; great-granddaughter, Frankie Candelairo; sister, Juanda Steinbeck. John will be missed by those who loved and knew him and enjoyed his charming personality. The family will receive friends Saturday at the Millington Chapel from 10am until the memorial service at 11am.
